Moon Phases Calendar Worksheet

Are your students able to identify sequences and predict patterns of change in the observable appearance of the moon? If you are looking for a worksheet to help your students analyse tables and charts with the different phases of the moon, look no further!

With this science worksheet, students will analyse different tables and calendars to identify when specific moon phases occurred during the month. Additionally, students will predict what moon phase would most likely occur at a certain point in the month and when certain phases would appear.

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

For students who need a challenge, have them continue the data charts with information about the next moon phases that will occur.

For students who need extra support, allow them to use a moon phases poster as a reference when completing the worksheet.
