Learning to Spell With Tricky Phonemes – M, MM, and MB Words
As teachers, we all know that there are some spelling rules that just don’t make sense! And there are quite a few that students really struggle with. In a survey of our teacher team, we’ve come to discover that there is one phoneme/spelling rule that often rises above the others in terms of difficulty. We discovered that words with m, mm, and mb were some of the most commonly misspelled words in student work. With that in mind, we’ve decided to put together some fun skill-building resources to help your students master this difficult skill.
