Let’s Research Unusual Plant Adaptations!

Discover the wonders of the plant world with our interactive Plant Adaptation Webquest Project. Designed for year 5 students, this research project takes students on a journey to learn about eight extraordinary and unusual plants, discovering the secrets behind their remarkable adaptations.

Within this Google Slides resource, your students will encounter a carefully curated selection of eight peculiar plants from around the globe. From the disgustingly beautiful corpse flower to the strange yet beautiful mangrove tree, each plant offers a glimpse into the amazing natural abilities found in plants. This WebQuest is equipped with a variety of trusted links to reputable sources, so your students will find themselves well-equipped to conduct comprehensive research. Once they have discovered each plant’s special features, they must write a paragraph summarising their findings.
