Support Your Students’ Writing with a Procedure Text Writing Scaffold
When it comes to producing quality procedural writing, sometimes all our students need is a little scaffolding!
This set of two procedure text writing scaffolds has been designed to help your students produce quality procedure texts containing all the necessary structural features. The sheets are slightly different to assist you in catering for students of different writing abilities.
- Scaffold 1 – This scaffold contains plenty of space for visuals such as drawings and diagrams. It includes boxes for students to record the title, materials/equipment/ingredients, and four steps. This scaffold would best suit students who are likely to write simpler texts.
- Scaffold 2 – This scaffold contains less space for visuals but more lines for writing in full sentences. It includes lines for students to record the title, goal, materials/equipment/ingredients and five steps. This scaffold would best suit students who are likely to write more complex texts.
This set of procedure text writing scaffolds downloads as a printable PDF or editable Google Slides version.
