Develop map skills with a map-reading worksheet.
It’s Time to Build Map Skills!
Resources for teaching map skills are abundant, but teachers often find it difficult to find engaging and exciting materials for early grades. Many fun projects, map games and map reading worksheets are reserved for the upper-year levels, but we’ve put together a resource to change that!
This worksheet will be sure to engage your young cartographers while building their knowledge of map skills and cardinal directions. Students will locate different objects on the map using cardinal directions with this resource.
This resource download includes:
- Reading a Map Worksheet
- Answer page for Easy Marking!
Through this activity, students will show the ability to use a map, legend and cardinal directions to locate objects on a map.
