Nothing brings more joy to a teacher’s heart than seeing a child completely lost in a great story – their body might be firmly placed on the classroom floor, but their mind is a million miles away, discovering new characters, settings and storylines. This is the magic of reading!
This set of four beautifully illustrated bookmarks has been created by our talented designers to celebrate the truly magical nature of books and reading. There are four different designs to choose from:

Multiple Uses for These “Reading Is Magic” Bookmarks
Bookmarks are a wonderful way to foster a love of reading within your students.
Here are some ways that you might like to use these “Reading Is Magic” bookmarks with your students during Book Week 2024:
- Use the colour version of the bookmarks as a gift or as a reward for good behaviour during Book Week. You could also give these bookmarks to your students at the beginning or end of the school year.
- Provide your students with the black-and-white version of the bookmarks and allow them to colour these in with their own choice of colours. You could also add extra craft materials such as feathers, sequins and felt.
Providing your students with a bookmark, or allowing them to colour their own, shows your class that reading matters!
