A worksheet to give students practice at reading scales to measure mass.
A variety of different scales show the mass of objects using standard units of measurement in the metric system. Students read each set of scales and draw a line to match the scale with the object of that mass. They read scales that measure grams and kilograms.
Three different types of scales are included:
- kitchen scales (circular)
- kitchen scales (linear)
- bathroom scales (circular)
Give your students the opportunity to read measurements on analogue instruments with this resource. An added bonus in using this worksheet is that your students will also be reinforcing their understanding of number lines.
Answers are included.
