A set of posters explaining the significance and traditions of various religious observances.
Use these posters in your classroom when studying different religious celebrations and observances, including:
- Diwali
- Easter
- Rosh Hashana
- the annual Hajj
- Vaisakhi
- Christmas
- Yom Kippur
- Ramadan.
Ways to use this resource:
- Divide the students into groups, and give each group an individual poster. Students can research the celebration and present it to the class.
- Create a Venn diagram on the floor with hoops. Compare and contrast the celebrations as a class.
- Have each student select a celebration and create a digital presentation about it. Then, have a celebrations expo where students present their celebration to a buddy class.
