This resource includes an interactive picture reveal activity that has students answering a variety of Remembrance Day trivia questions, including
- What year did World War I begin?
- Which country is Flanders’ Fields located in?
- What is an armistice?
- Who campaigned to have the red poppy chosen as the symbol of remembrance?
- And more!
Using Our Interactive Remembrance Day Lessons
We created this resource for whole group lessons or as a fun independent game for your students to play in Google Classroom. In addition, we suggest these alternative uses to reinforce reading skills and new vocabulary words with your small group and full-class lessons:
- Complete the activity as a group, discussing terms, looking at pictures beforehand, etc.
- Complete the activity AFTER reading our Remembrance Day Comprehension Worksheets and allow students to use it as a reference.
