Roll Your Way to Standards Mastery! Telling Time Made Fun!

Are you on the hunt for fun new resources to help your students practise telling time? Are you tired of the same old telling time worksheets and activities? If so, you’re in the right place! The Teach Starter team has been hard at work creating new telling time activities and printables for students (and teachers) at all year levels!

Roll and Write – Telling Time Dice Games

This printable resource is the perfect way to give your students a fun way to practise their skills by telling time to the hour/half hour, five-minute mark, and quarter-hour. To play, students will roll the dice and find the column with the matching number, then write or find a clock to read and/or draw the hands-on. We’ve included time worksheets at the following levels.

  • Level 1 – Roll and Write Time to the Hour/Half Hour
  • Level 2 – Roll and Write Time to the Half, Hour, and Quarter Hour
  • Level 3 – Roll and Write Time to the Nearest 5 Minutes
