🌎 Printable Science Posters
What is the difference between rotation and revolution? When Earth rotates or spins, it moves around its own axis. A revolution, on the other hand, is when an object moves around another object. For this example, the Earth revolves or moves around the Sun in an anti-clockwise manner. Use this poster set if you are looking for some clear explanations during your earth and space science lessons!
Each poster contains a visual graphic as well as information about:
- the definition of each term
- how long it takes to complete one movement
- how it affects time periods on Earth.
