Halloween Printable Activities are Here!

Whenever the month of October rolls around, you know it’s time for some exciting fun! And if you’re looking for a way to bring out the spooky in your classroom, try this Halloween maths worksheet that includes a fun search, find and tally activity.

In this Halloween activity, students locate and tally the Halloween icons in the (not at all) scary scene provided.

A black-and-white version is provided for students to colour in the scene themselves.

As an extension, students might like to create a relevant graph to display the tallies.

The activity also works well as a brain break, both in the classroom as well as virtually! Simply display the image on the screen and see how quickly students can find each one!

Easily Prepare This Halloween Worksheet for Year 1

Because this resource includes an answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheet for students to complete.

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity! Print a few copies on card and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can tally with a dry-erase marker, then erase and reuse.
