A sorting activity to help students identify objects that should be measured in grams, kilograms and tonnes.

This hands-on resource for teaching mass makes a perfect addition to your numeracy rotation activities!

Print the resource on thick card for increased durability, then cut and distribute to your students.

Students must sort the object pictures according to whether they would be measured in grams, kilograms or tonnes.

Why not ask any fast finishers to research the actual masses of some of the objects on the cards, then share this information with the class!
