How Can Innovation Lead to Global Change?

Innovation plays a vital role in causing global change and advancement. It refers to inventing and applying new ideas, technologies, processes or approaches that lead to improvements, disruptions, or advances in different fields.

This year you can inspire your students to be thinkers, builders, and world-changers by encouraging them to think outside the box and invent something new. With this printable guidebook, your students can put themselves in the shoes of an inventor and create something unique to solve global problems, such as

  • Global warming
  • Deforestation
  • Food Insecurity
  • And more!

This booklet walks your students through the following stages of developing a new invention.

  1. Decide on a problem that needs to be solved.
  2. Brainstorm possible solutions to the problem.
  3. Invent, Draw and label an invention to solve the problem.
  4. Describe the invention in detail and explain how it works.
  5. Determine any obstacles that may be encountered in the production of the product.
  6. Pitch and sell a product using an advertisement.
