Grab and Go Printable Reading Logs for Kids!
Attention teachers! Are you trying to motivate your young readers to spend a bit more time each day with their noses in a book? One way to encourage reading in class and at home is through the use of a reading log. A reading log is a simple, yet effective motivational tool to encourage students to complete their nightly reading assignments. This year, we encourage you to try to grow your readers through the use of one of our printable Teach Starter reading logs!
Reading Logs for Big Kids, Little Kids, and Everyone in Between!
This printable resource download is differentiated for you! We’ve included a variety of reading log templates to meet the needs of older students, younger students, and everyone in between.
To use, print a log for each student and write their name on the line provided. Then, have them put it inside their take-home folder or their book bag with a levelled reader for them to practise.
Use the editable Google slide version to change out the text in each column.
Use the dropdown icon on the side of the Download menu to choose between the PDF or Google slide version.
