Subitising Dominoes Gamify Maths

You’ll find many uses for these subitising dominoes in your classroom! This resource contains a page of each of the following:

  • Dominoes 1 – 6
  • Dominoes 7 – 12
  • Numeral cards 1 – 12

To use, provide students with a pre-cut and laminated copy of the domino and numeral cards. Ask the students to match each domino card to its numeral.

One Resource, Many Uses!

These printable domino cards can be used to help teach and reinforce many more maths skills as well. Here are just a few fun ideas:

  • Counting – Students draw a domino card and count how many dots are on each side.
  • Addition – Ask students to add the dots on both sides of the domino card.
  • Ordering numbers – Mix the domino cards up and then ask students to put them in order from least to greatest.
  • Comparing numbers – Students partner up and then each draw a card. The student with the higher amount on their card “wins.”
