Sunflower Subtraction – Using Ten Frames Activity

Introducing our new interactive activity for young learners – “Sunflower Subtraction”! This exciting interactive learning game is perfect for students learning to subtract numbers up to twenty using ten frames.

Ten frames are a visual tool that helps children develop number sense and understand the relationship between numbers. This self-checking interactive activity provides a fun and engaging way for students to practise using the ten-frame strategy for subtraction.

Playing Your Interactive Ten-Frame Game

Players will be presented with a series of subtraction problems and must use the provided ten frames to identify the problem, determine the difference, and more. With each correct response, players are alerted whether their answer is correct or incorrect. Correct answers lead the students through the question set, while incorrect answers redirect them to try the problem again.
