Number Word Search Puzzles for Number Recognition

This set of number word search puzzles is a fun way for your students to practise identifying the word form for the numbers 0 through 20, and the tens as well. This set includes the following word searches:

  • Numbers 0 – 20
  • Numbers 11 – 20
  • Tens up to 100

Answer keys for each puzzle are included.

Teaching Your Students to Recognise Number Word Forms

We have many printable products to help your students connect the numeral and word forms of numbers, but here are some other fun activity ideas as well!

  • Interactive Games: Play games where students can physically interact with number words. For example, you could have a number word scavenger hunt or create a hopscotch game.
  • Word Rainbows: Students write the number words in a rainbow, using a different colour for each letter of the word.
  • Number Books: Read aloud or provide students with books that focus on numbers and their word forms.
