Tick, Tock…It’s Time to Practise Converting Units of Time!

Learning how to convert time between different units can be difficult, especially for younger students. It can be confusing to understand how minutes, hours, and days relate to each other. But don’t worry, we’re here to help! We know that fourth and fifth graders sometimes struggle with this concept, and it takes a lot of practise and engagement to master it. That’s why we suggest using fun activities like task cards to make learning about time conversion more fun!

Time Conversion Task Cards

These Time Conversion task cards are an excellent tool for making time-learning fun for your students. The cards are designed to help students overcome common struggles they face when converting between units of time. This printable set covers a wide range of time units, including seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months, providing your students with a complete review of time conversion. So whether you’re teaching time to beginning converters or reinforcing already-taught concepts, these task cards will be the perfect addition to your maths lessons and workstations.

Each task card presents time conversions in relatable, real-world scenarios and provides students with four multiple-choice answers to choose from.
