We’ve Done the Differentiation! Number Line Math Activities

No need to worry about differentiation because we’ve already done it for you. This resource download includes two versions of the activity for you to choose from based on your students’ needs. Here’s how we’ve broken it down for you.

  • BELOW/ON GRADE LEVEL – The blue border cards are single-step place value prompts and correspond with the recording sheet and key with 1 star.
  • Example: Place a counter on the number with a 7 in the tens place and a 5 in the ones place.
  • ABOVE GRADE LEVEL – The coral border cards are advanced place value prompts corresponding with the recording sheet and key with two stars.
  • Example: Place a counter on the number that is greater than 20, less than 25, and has a 3 in the ones place.

Use this teaching resource in the classroom when teaching 2-digit place value. This resource can be used as a whole class or maths station activity.
