Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
Card sets vary in difficulty and can be identified by the shape found in the top corners of the Sorting Cards page.
- Raindrop Sorting Cards = general examples (ex: River) and are beginner-level
- Cloud Sorting Cards = specific examples (ex: Nile River) and are advanced-level
You can mix and match varying combinations of Sorting Cards and Templates based on student understanding.
- Natural vs. Man-made Template = beginner-level
- Freshwater vs. Saltwater = advanced-level
