Explaining Climate Change for Kids

Climate change is a phrase that most children in the 21st century are familiar with. But do they know what this phrase means?

Climate change occurs when the usual climate for a particular area changes. It is sometimes also known as ‘global warming’ because scientists believe it is making our planet hotter. Having said that, climate change can take many forms. Cold places like the Arctic might see temperatures rise, while places that usually have high rainfall might receive less rain.
