A consonant +le syllable comes at the end of a word. These syllables contain a consonant, followed by the letter l, followed by a silent letter e. These syllables always occur at the end of a word. Split the syllables
Provide the students with a mini whiteboard and markers. Read out words from the word list, then have the students write the word on their whiteboard using a line to indicate the syllable breaks.
