Engage your students in thought-provoking discussions with this set of International Women’s Day-themed ‘Would You Rather’ questions.
International Women’s Day Whole Class Activity
Are you looking for a great way to engage your students during International Women’s Day? Feel like they’ve done enough worksheets and desk work? This fun and active whole-class activity is the perfect addition to your celebrations this International Women’s Day.
To play, project the slides in front of the class. Students will be presented with two choices to do with inspirational women from all across the world. After deciding which option they prefer, students will move to the left or the right side of the room to indicate their answers.
After a series of questions, students will be prompted with an active participation prompt that has them complete a different movement or exercise for 100 seconds. What a great way to engage your students all while having a bit of a brain break!
Students will have to make choices based on the following International Women’s Day-inspired options:
- Would you rather meet Helen Keller or Rosa Parks?
- Would you rather study radioactivity or be a war correspondent?
- Would you rather meet Empress Cixi or Meet Maya Angelou?
- Would you rather write novels and poetry or work with chimpanzees?
- Would you rather research with Marie Curie or write with Louise Mack?
- Serve as an Associate Justice or earn a PhD in chemistry?
