“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Pablo Picasso
I loved studying famous artists and their artistic styles with my class. We would study the artist’s life and analyse their famous pieces of artwork. In the next lesson, we would create a piece of art inspired by their style or one of their famous pieces. This blog outlines different art activities inspired by famous artists that you could do with your students using basic art materials found in the classroom.
We have a set of 54 famous artists cards that are the perfect addition to these art lessons!
