A set of differentiated worksheets that focus on drawing 2D shapes and describing 3D objects.
Use these worksheets when working with a composite class or with students of mixed abilities. Each version has slight variations that match with Year 2, 3 and 4 content descriptions.
Instead of labelling the different worksheet versions with year levels, there are simple shapes (circle, triangle or square) the more sides to the shape, the greater the worksheet’s complexity.
Describe Features of Three-Dimensional Objects
Each worksheet requires students to name and label the features of a prism and pyramid.
Draw 2D Shapes
Students draw and label 2D shapes to make sections of the worksheet match or to show shapes that can be linked to 3D objects. The Year 4 (square) version of the worksheet has students split composite shapes into regular shapes.
Australian Curriculum Linked
Relevant Australian Curriculum codes are included on each answer sheet.
