A set of dominoes to help students consolidate their understanding of 2D shapes.

Use this teaching resource to allow students to further explore 2D shapes.

Adhere the dominoes to thick cardboard for durability.

In some of the cards, the 2D shape appears as a white shape surrounded by a patterned background.

Some cards have one side labelled ‘the most’. This section has two types of shapes represented. The student needs to identify the shape there is more of.

Students can play the game with a partner, or in a small group.

Note: Due to the variety of match options, the dominoes may not line up perfectly in one linear line.
