A worksheet for students to use when learning about the place value of three-digit numbers.
Use this place value teaching resource in the classroom to help students partition three-digit numbers and understand that three-digit numbers are comprised of hundreds, tens and ones.
Provide students with this worksheet as part of a whole class activity.
Alternatively, print off a group set and laminate for students to use during numeracy rotations with a removable marker.
Students roll three dice and select one dice as their ‘hundreds’, one as their ‘tens’ and one dice and their ‘ones’. Students then record the number they have rolled, make it with MAB, draw what they have made and show it in expanded form.
