A concentration style card game that can be used to consolidate students' knowledge of rhyming words.

Use this teaching resource when studying rhyming words in your classroom.

Students play a concentration-style game and find pairs of rhyming words. The player with the most pairs at the end of the game wins!

How to make this resource:

  • Print out the cards, front and back, on cardstock so that the eggs are displayed on the front and the picture and words are on the back.
  • Cut out the 18 cards and store in a ziplock bag or plastic pouch.

This activity is great when used as a reading center activity!
