A set of 24 cards that can be used to help consolidate students' knowledge of causes and effects.
Cause and Effect is an important comprehension strategy for students to understand. This sorting game is a fantastic way to help students in the lower grades understand causes and effects.
How to use this resource:
- Print and cut the cause and effect cards.
- Jumble the cards up and then match up the cause and its corresponding effect to make a pair.
- Give each student in the class one card and ask students who have a cause to stand on one side of the classroom, and students with an effect to stand on the other side of the classroom. The aim is to match the causes with their effects.
