Inspire some Christmas cheer in your classroom with this interactive multiple choice quiz!

  • What food and drink is traditionally left out for Santa Claus in the United States of America?
  • In the Christmas song of the same name, what does the Spanish phrase ‘Feliz Navidad’ mean in English?
  • In Norway, people hide this item on Christmas Eve to keep witches and evil spirits away. What do they hide?

We have the answers in our Christmas Around the World Trivia Quiz!

Educate your students about how Christmas is celebrated around the world with this 20-question multiple choice interactive PowerPoint. The questions are broken into four categories:

  • Food and Drink
  • Songs and Stories
  • Traditions
  • The Man in Red

Each category contains five questions. The fifth question in each category is based around a photographic stimulus.

Conduct the quiz in small groups, or as a whole class. Look for opportunities to explore and discuss the Christmas traditions further, perhaps encouraging students to conduct independent research into a tradition that interests them.

To activate the interactive functions on this PowerPoint, ensure that you have ‘enabled editing’ and are viewing the PowerPoint as a ‘slide show’.

Keen to keep the festive cheer going? See our Christmas collection for a huge range of resources to keep your students busy until the very last moments of the school year!
