DIY Poinsettia Decorations for the Classroom

The download includes a simple yet beautiful craft template for a poinsettia, which is a common feature of Christmas décor in Mexico.

Show Your Pupils Christmas Traditions Around the World

The activity pairs well with our Christmas Around the World Printable mini book – Mexico, so you can use them at home or in the classroom to educate your pupils about other cultures’ celebrations this holiday season.

To use, students will first colour and cut out the printed poinsettia flower pieces. These are then layered and glued to form the bloom. The leaves are then glued behind the petals. Finished poinsettias make perfect Christmas decorations for the classroom!
