What is a Number Bond? 

A number bond is a mathematical diagram that helps the learner visualise the relationship between numbers, typically used in early maths education. It consists of a circle or rectangle that contains two or more parts (represented as smaller circles or rectangles) that add up to the whole.

Christmas Maths Worksheets for Year 1

This free Christmas printable worksheet set is perfect for Year 1 pupils! They will use their knowledge of addition number bonds and sums to twelve to colour and model two ways to make each number. Once they have coloured the combinations, they will write the number sentence to match each picture.
