Engage Your Future Engineers with a Christmas STEM Challenge!

Get ready for the holidays by prepping a fun and competitive Christmas STEM project! We’ve put together a top-notch STEM activity that guides your pupils to building the tallest standing structure using decorated cups.

Provide pupils with the instruction, planning, and design documents prior to beginning. Provide them with 20 disposable paper cups and set them to work. They will brainstorm, plan, sketch a schematic, complete the task, and reflect on their findings.

STEM Activities are Perfect for Building Collaborative Skills

In addition to STEM learning, through this activity pupils will:

☘️ Exercise critical thinking skills

☘️ Explore creativity

☘️ Strengthen verbal and motor skills

☘️ Consider cause and effect

☘️ Have fun

Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Pupils

We suggest using sustainable resources like reused or recycled paper and other materials that can be repurposed after completing this activity.
