Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Classroom

Use the dropdown icon on the Download button to choose between the colour, black and white, or editable Microsoft Word version of this resource.

This teaching resource includes:

  • We Soar to Great Heights (letter set)
  • 4 hot air balloon templates (space for student photos)
  • clouds (for decoration).

Use rope or string to create the connection between the balloon and the basket of the hot air balloon. To personalise the back-to-school display for your new students, snap photos of each student on the first day of school and place your students’ photos as if they are sitting in the hot air balloon basket. When they arrive at school the next morning, they’ll be delighted to spot their own balloon!

Print on card for added durability and longevity. After the back-to-school season, you can place all pieces in a folder or large envelope for easy access and re-use next school year.
