A memory game to play in the classroom when developing suitable language to describe different measurements.

Use this teaching resource during numeracy group activities when developing suitable language associated with measurement attributes.

Students match the pictures with the measurement descriptions by playing a game of memory. The person with the most cards collected at the end wins the game!

Print, cut and laminate a class set of the measurement cards and store in a zip-loc bag. Individually, or in small groups, students play a game of memory to match the cards.
