Design a tea set fit for a King to celebrate the King's Coronation.
King’s Coronation Printable Craft Activity (Design Project)
Engage your students in learning about the history-making coronation day of King Charles III. This design/craft activity is both a creative activity and a great way to learn about the symbols representing the royal family and what happens during a coronation. You may like to take this opportunity to spend some time learning about the New Monarch and the process of a coronation ceremony. Check out our A New Monarch Teaching PowerPoint if this is what you would like to begin with.
✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors
This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.
With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:
- strengthen finger and hand muscles
- build dexterity and fine motor skills
- improve hand-eye coordination
- develop focus and attention.
And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.
Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!
