Celebrate going back to school with a printable photo props pack to be used in the classroom on the first day of the school year.
Make this back-to-school season one your pupils will never forget with a printable first-day-of-school photo frame and props that can be used to create a classroom display or decorate your classroom door!
Back-to-School Photo Prop Pack
We know you’ve got so much to do to prepare for the first day of school — after all, we’re teachers, too — so we’ve put an entire pack together to save you time! This teacher-created resource includes:
- Large pencils to be stuck on a blank wall (these are printed over 6 A4 pages; one pencil has the word ‘Welcome’ and the other pencil has ‘We Are So Sharp’)
- Back-to-school frame (this frame is printed over 8 A4 pages – 3 across and 3 down)
- Mini photo frames for photos of pupils
- Small pencils and decorations to be used for the backdrop
Make a First Day of School Photo Frame
By setting up a photo booth display, you’re giving the pupils something to do as they enter the classroom. You can also use it as a talking point with parents if they are able to come onto the school grounds. Parents can take a photo of their child at the photo booth, settle them in at their desks and head out of the classroom.
There might be a chance that parents aren’t able to come to the school on the first day. Having a photo booth set up is a special memory you can send home to parents and carers.
Once printed, you can stick it together and cut out the inside white part to create the frame. To make it sturdy, we stuck some thick poster cards to the back. This is advised to ensure the frame is strong enough for little hands – many little hands! As an added bonus, backing the frame will make it more durable to be used in years to come.
It’s also super cute for siblings to jump in the frame if they are helping to drop off their brothers or sisters! What better memory for the family to cherish for years to come?
First Day of School Polaroid Frames
When all is said and done, sometimes we don’t have space, the budget, or the time. So, we have also included a set of little Polaroid frames in this pack. These print four to a page (so not as much paper), and all you have to do is take a photo of each of your pupils and stick it in the white space.
If you don’t have the space to create the backdrop in your classroom, this version will still create a beautiful memory.
