Use this teaching resource to reinforce the structural features of an explanation text.

Students cut out and read each paragraph of the explanation text, How Do Rocks Form? They must then glue each paragraph into the correct row of the scaffold table provided, under the following headings:

  • title
  • introduction
  • description
  • conclusion.
