A sorting game to use in the classroom when identifying the properties of 2D shapes and 3D objects.
Use this teaching resource during numeracy group activities to help students identify and compare 2D shapes and 3D objects.
Individually, or in small groups, students sort the cards into two groups, 2D shapes and 3D objects. Once the cards have been sorted, students then match the pictures with their names.
Print, cut out and laminate a class set of cards and store in a ziplock bag. Alternatively, to reduce plastic use, print on thick card for durability.
