A set of match-up cards to reinforce addition facts to 10.

Use this resource when teaching your students about the friends of ten, also known as rainbow number facts.

Students match the visual representations on the ten frames with the corresponding addition sentence.

To increase the level of challenge, have your students play ‘Memory’ with a partner. Turn the cards facedown in an array., then have the students take turns turning over two cards. If the cards match, they keep the cards. If they do not match, they turn the cards back over, and play is passed to the other player. The student with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.

It is recommended that you print the resource on thick card for added durability.

This resource was made in collaboration with Miri Dalton.
