A set of 10 fun brain teasers for your students in middle primary.

Give your students one brain teaser a day or a week to try and solve. As a suggestion, you could have a solutions box at the front of the classroom.

Your students would then write their name and answer on a piece of paper and drop it into the box. At the end of the day or week you would reveal the answer.

When adding sound buttons to words we use a dot under each single phoneme and a line under the digraphs and trigraphs to show the 'sound'. Therefore our children would get confused with the two lines on your 'ch' type worksheets. Children need to see it not as 'c' and a 'h' but as the single sound 'ch'. Just a thought. Great page though with lits of Fab ideas.
