Safety Plan Template for Primary School Pupils
In line with the 2024 Tes Safeguarding Awareness Week theme “Everyone has the right to feel safe,” this safety plan template promotes the right to safety and encourages pupils to identify and articulate their personal safety needs and strategies. It fosters an environment where everyone feels safe and knows what to do if they don’t.
Use this template when instructing primary school pupils about personal boundaries, safe and unsafe environments, their trusted adult networks, and overall well-being. This safety plan template encourages your pupils to ponder the following:

- Activities that foster a sense of safety are…

These conversation starters are an excellent method to engage your class about this subject matter and discuss how each response will vary for every pupil.
