A place value worksheet for younger students to use when identifying and recording numbers in their environment.
Use this teaching resource when helping students identify numbers in their environment.
Take your students on a local walk. Whilst on the walk, encourage your students to be ‘Number Detectives’ and record the numbers they see and where they saw them. Once back in the classroom, have a class discussion about the different ways numbers are used in the environment.
