A five page assessment task for the lower primary, covering persuasive writing.
A persuasive letter writing task where students imagine they have been chosen to represent their grade as a student leader. They must choose between two main issues and write a persuasive letter to their principal, convincing him or her that action should be taken on the topic they have chosen. The issues are:
- Computer games are educational and should be used in the classroom.
- Weekends should be three days long.
Students brainstorm, plan and write a persuasive letter based on one of the above issues.
