A worksheet to assist students in understanding what actual computer code (ASCII- current 8-bit version) looks like.

Use this worksheet when studying binary coding in your classroom.

This worksheet has been designed to introduce students to understanding the patterns found in binary code and the links between these binary numbers and capital letters on a keyboard.  Students can use what they learn from this to write coded messages to their peers.

This worksheet can be supported with the 8-bit Decoding Puzzle or Binary On/Off Code Information Sheet.
