A template to use to make a poppy for Remembrance Day.
Use this template when commemorating Remembrance Day with your students.
Cut out each of the pieces of the poppy. Colour the petal section red, and then use a split pin to secure the pieces together.
The red poppy is the emblem of remembrance. We wear the red poppy in memory of our soldiers who died in Flanders’ Fields during World War I. It is also a symbol of respect and camaraderie between the soldiers of all Allied nations and for the land in Northern France, which was a common battleground.
