A science experiment which explores the sun as a heat source.

The sun is a star. It is the largest object in our solar system. Through the process of nuclear fusion, the sun produces light energy and heat energy. This energy travels outwards from the
surface of the sun towards Earth.

This Earth and Space Sciences experiment allows students to investigate if the sun produces heat.

Students follow the scientific method to conduct the experiment in small groups, then complete the worksheet provided.
