Print these flashcards out at full-size and laminate them to use for group activities. Have students sort the sentences into simple, compound and complex sentences.
As a group activity, have students pick a sentence and explain to their group why they think it is a simple, a compound or a complex sentence.
You may also like to create pocket-size task cards or sheets that can be glued into a notebook by printing 2 or 4 to a page using printer settings.
