This 8-problem subtraction worksheet is best used as independent practice of the subtraction algorithm.

Students will solve the 2-digit subtraction sentences to find the difference, which has a letter of the alphabet associated with it. Then they will use their answers to solve the riddle at the bottom of the worksheet by writing the letter that corresponds to each difference.
